It is still tougher than going through a 1 bid league.

A Colorado team that was completely embarrassed start to finish by an awful Nebraska team is probably the best team in the big 12 right now.

The only reason the big 12 has three teams in the top 17 is the committee doesn't want to get caught with their pants down if someone other than BYU wins the league.

Precisely why an Iowa State team that got run off the field by a 2-6 team was ranked number 17 last week.
