by comparing the *Oklahoma Sooners* to the "Eastern Washington Eagles".
OU is 4-0 vs non-SEC, and their 4 other SEC losses were all to top 10 opponents according to the computers (#2 Texas, #4 Ole Miss, #9 Tennessee, #10 South Carolina).
Gates was 0-19 in SEC play, despite SEC basketball being much less competitive than SEC football.
