decent people should shun their radical liberal friends and relatives.

Radical liberal people are righteous, courageous, and principled. There is no reason to shun them, divorce, or dislike them in any way.

But anyone who voted for Trump is by definition evil and stupid. It is always put in the context of whether you should shun someone who is evil and stupid and that's perfectly OK if you are righteous and principled.

It is always the conservatives who are the pariahs in a household or family. The wacky, woke women and weenies from the radical left are always cast as the good guys, the normals.

Republicans are eminently shun able. Why would anyone shun a
a friend or family member who is righteous, courageous, intelligent and principled?
