As a VN vet, we were as we used to say "Shot at and missed, shxt at and hit" . When we came back we were treated as if we had started the war. Hell I was drafted as were most --the draft---which has been gone for 50 years. Anyway, 58,000 weren't so lucky. Bad war at a bad time and bad results.

I came back to Mizzou and got my law degree so it helped pay for that and working nights at UPS . I actually got called back in for the fall of Saigon in 1975 as reservist but passed. Why should I have to go twice when they had ended the draft? Got my DD-214 so no harm no foul.
