picking against them? That is some Earth shattering news. I'm sure Steelers fans would never do that in the same situation.

But yes, the only link to that team was record and Super Bowl team. Nobody took it any further than that except for you. That Giants team didn't have any business beating the Patriots. They were 8-8 that year. They lost to the Patriots by 3 at the end of the year, but Brady and Belicheck struggled against Spags' defense.
