My guess is that Robin's teams have averaged 15-20 turnovers during her time at MU. Even with the Sophie-Cierra teams, they turned it over too much.
My question is why? Do the players not practice ball-handling? Do the coaches not recruit good ball-handlers?
The best ball-handlers MU have ever had, were Amanda Lassiter and Pep Williams. Maybe that's why we made it to the Sweet 16 that season. They could handle the ball against pressure, and they could pressure other ball-handlers.
Maybe there's only a handful of players with that skill coming out every season, and the bigger programs get them all?
