Screw that. When the other team pulls off a scoop and score or interception or runs for 60 yards I want GRIEF. I want disappointment. I want a homer call, not someone who's not sure to communicate 'excitement for a big play' or 'catastrophic developments for the team'.
A homer call sounds like fans in the booth and it's clear both what's happening in the game and what that means for my team.
Someday Kelly will have to retire and I've got fingers crossed we get our booth up with some of the other SEC programs and their hyper-partisan calls.
