Since they are also now a scalping / broker they want to obfiscate what the actual original price was. The more confusing they make pricing the more they can charge and less people complain about it. It’s also one of reasons they use dynamic pricing. This is why I hope they pass laws on up front pricing. We need clear pricing more then ever.
