Trump supporters being simpletons, the religious, poorly educated, and older people who were not particularly sophisticated seems to have morphed. May not be a recoverable event if young people are able to be duped in that manner, particularly given they aren’t locked into a life of failure or aggrievement so there is no functional reason for them to allow themselves to be duped.
