1. taking walz over shapiro - she needed thoughtfulness and pennsylvania but opted for bloviation.
2. offering some dumb economics like a tax on unearned earnings - it showed how shallow her functional background.
3. focusing on abortion - she had that voter from the getgo - harping endlessly drove a wedge with moderates, catholics, and particularly latinos.
