That's what it felt like with Pierce last night. Dude was going nuts from the wing, whether it was shooting or driving. He was clearly in a good zone.
Then he sits through halftime and the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half.
Gates basically told the world with his quote on it "we are going to let the opponent dictate what we do and who we play". Do you have to adjust to what the other team is doing? Of course. But prepare to see a lot of trapping in the half court as we see better teams, as it basically grinded our offense to a halt.
