Here's what Trump said, verbatium:
"Dick Cheney's daughter is a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels shooting at her. Let's see how she feels about it when the guns are trained on her face. They're all war hawks when they're sitting in Washington in a nice building saying 'Oh gee, let's send 10,000 troops into the mouths of the enemies.'"
Note the "Let's put her with a rifle..." part, which clearly indicates he was NOT talking about putting her before a firing squad (as the left is dishonestly claiming).
Clearly, Trump was making a point that DC warmongers like the Cheney family would have a very different perspective if they were the ones actually deployed to war zones.
In other words, people like Liz Cheney should have to fight in the unnecessary wars they advocate for.
The Cheney family has made a fortune off of massive military contracts (the so-called "war machine" or "military industrial complex"). In the process, they have cost thousands of American lives and added TRILLIONS of dollars to the national debt.
