harder to land top kids this class. Sometimes they see that as a problem when then want to play sooner rather than later. If we think this year's frosh will become legit players, then the '25 class needs to be guys that will be comfortable having a developmental year or two.
I bet most people don't remember that Roy Williams always recruited big every other year and the in between years were leaner...on purpose. I'm not saying that was the best idea all the time, but when you have a big class of high rated guys, you might need some balance. And no, that does not mean you recruit "bad" players but some in that next tier can be a good idea.
