This strategy of personal destruction goes beyond Trump. They did it with Bush, McCain, Romney and now Trump. Pence, McCain and Romney were all destroyed until they turned on Trump. If Trump wasn’t the candidate, someone else would be Hitler and called the worst human to ever live. It’s what they do because they lose on policy.
