If, as you say, RP can’t recruit a a real point guard to save her life, or a legitimate frontcourt player who can hold her own against the best in the SEC (all of which we apparently agree on), why don’t we just try a different approach and start the best 5 players? Even though none of them is a classic PG or frontcourt player?

I see 4 point guards on the roster, and have no idea if they can be effective in the SEC. A 5’7 junior in eligibility from Sweden. A 5’6 freshman from Texas, Oliphant. Brown, the 5’7 graduate student who is on like her 8th team in 9 years (jk, don’t take me literally, just a joke, but she’s bounced around a lot which is usually not a great indicator). And then Wilson, a 5’8 senior transfer from New Mexico, who barely played her first two seasons at Syracuse, then averaged 15.5 ppg at New Mexico last year. On paper she seems like the best option, but does New Mexico transfer well to the SEC? I have no idea, just that RP has not had great success bringing in mid major players who can compete at a high level in the SEC.
