We can get Diontae Johnson out of them. He's got a cap-friendly deal because he's a UFA next year, he's a capable player that won't bring a huge asking price, Carolina has no reason to keep him because he won't be there next year and they're not going anywhere but the top of the draft this year. Might as well get another draft pick out of us for him.
He's a 60% catch-rate guy for his career (Juju is 69.6, Tyreek is 67.9, MVS is 49.6, for comparisons).
He's not a world-beater, but we clearly don't need him to be. He has 30 catches for 357 yards and 3 TDs this year, which would make his 2nd in catches on the Chiefs, 1st in yards, and 1st in TDs.
He was Juju's teammate at Pittsburgh from 2019-21 so maybe that works in our favor, too.
