She made an ass of herself by not going and a bigger one by doing that terrible unfunny skit. I advised her on this very board to just congratulate the cardinal and thank them all for their good work, say god bless america and go away.
She tried to be funny. She wasn't.
But just imagine if that idiot had attended, sat in the center of the dais where she would be on camera the whole time. And then when she spoke...yikes. No teleprompter, only written notes.
It would have been like she was reading aloud to a second grade class of short bus students.
The decision to not go was was the lesser of two terrible options.
Chuckles should thank the person who adviser her to take a powder. Instead she harangued the adviser so chuckles could pretend that she would have done fabulously well speaking at the dinner.
