it was just an exercise of going through the motions to reinforce what a loser Anderson was and justify his firing beyond all reasonable doubt for the few boosters that were still defending him.
Last season was bad, but there were underlying statistical things that were encouraging and there's a highly-ranked freshman and transfer class on the way.
I'm not champing at the bit like it's 1989 and we're pitting Doug Smith against Stacey King in a top 5 matchup of Big 8 powerhouses, but I'm also not anywhere near the level of despair I was at when we were coming up on Kim's third year.
