by him playing all the instruments, I believe. Needed a band to tour and I think he had been in another band with Barry Goudreau and Brad Delp (may he rest in peace).

The downfall of the band was that Tom Scholz is a perfectionist. The rest of them did an album under the name Goudreau, but it wasn't nearly as successful as Boston, obviously.
