Tony Bennett retiring was a rumor all spring I heard from coaches, but no way Bennett or anyone close to him was going to confirm. And why would he wait? To pick his successor, who I'd bet is Ron Sanchez. Who left a head coaching job in June 2023 to return to Virginia.
