Just back today from

Massachusetts. Thoughts:
1. Amherst was a fun little college town.
2. The Cape was a blast. It was the last weekend big events as things are shutting down for the winter, but it was still really fun. And the lobster roll at Sesuit Harbor Cafe was outstanding.
3. Boston has a much smaller footprint than I realized. Saw some cool history. Stopped at Fenway to take a picture. Walked through the public garden and Boston common and down to the north end. Ate at the Bell in Hand. Got a pastry at Mike's. Didn't get to spend nearly enough time there, but was fun and I would love to go back. Felt like a very safe city. Probably helped that our tour guide was a friend that is a local.
