have definitely out priced the average fan. We had season tickets for one year that we won at an auction, and paid $3,400 for 2 seats…or roughly $212 per game…so yeah we overpaid a bit, but it was for charity. Section 121 (I think) row 12…corner of the end zone. Great seats…that was the first year Pat won the SuperBowl. We got to go to the playoff games as well…it was awesome. We didn’t have the option to renew, and decided not to buy season ticket the following year.
Fast forward to this year as I’m looking for two tickets to the Broncos game, and the cheapest you can find are nose bleeds going for $390 a pop. WTF? $800 for two tickets to a regular season game in week 7??? And that doesn’t count parking or any money you spend at the game. You are in for over $1,000 easy just to see the Broncos regular season.
Luckily a friend hooked me up with two, but good Lord. I get supply and demand, but goodness that’s crazy. Your average Raytona Beach resident isn’t going to be able to afford that.
