Most voters want the Federal Emergency Management Agency to concentrate on helping Americans, but most Democrats think it’s fine for FEMA funds to be spent helping immigrants.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters think spending FEMA money to help immigrants is a good idea, while 59% believe it would be better for FEMA to focus on helping Americans affected by natural disasters. The survey of 1,442 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on October 6-8, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
