up a good point. Our way of looking at things
means the over 100 billion dollars in damage from this just one storm will be happily and merrily replaced largely with the same sort of buildings as were just all smashed up.

Any replacement or new buildings in such areas should be MANDATED to occur with best practices for hurricaine/tornado resistance.

Of course that would mean "burdensome" regulations.
