I have seen them once. I worked on the 2012 Walker recall election and was in meetings where those were shared. Campaigns pay a good deal for them, but won't if they are not good.

In that race the regular polls showed a fairly tight race. Internals showed we would the thing wrapped up fairly early. Walker received nearly 58% of the vote and the race was called less than an hour after the polls closed.
