Is hicks is supposed to take on the blocker to leave 28 (I believe Charleston) to make the one on one tackle. 28 gets sucked up to far on his side and is out of position even though unblocked.

Defensive play calls so have players with specific jobs and if you do yours and someone else doesn't do theirs it looks bad on you.

Not saying that's right, I don't know the play call but I clearly see 28 looking like he knew he messed up with his lateral dive.
