Big loss for them, and yes, I realize they'll say it was coming off an emotional win against UGA the previous week. When he was on the GameDay set, Saban even said it's easier to prepare a team after a big loss, than the big win.

I still think we have to win out at this point to have a crack at the playoffs, unless there are multiple SEC teams with 2 losses. I also never thought this team, with this schedule, could go 12-0, but "maybe" 11-1 and 10-2 would be totally reasonable with the new 12-team format.

I'd say Texas has the best shot of going 12-0, but they have back to back games coming up vs. OU and then UGA. That's a tough two weeks.

The SEC likely gets 3 teams in the playoff, so it's pretty simple: Top 3 teams.

Where do we finish? Guess we'll find out.
