Yes, there is a substantial amount of written evidence that Jesus Christ lived and died:
Jewish and Roman historians
Jewish historian and military leader Josephus mentions Jesus in his Antiquities of the Jews around 93–94 AD. Roman historian Tacitus also mentions Jesus in his Annals around 116 AD.
Christian writings
The earliest Christian writings, the epistles of St Paul, were written within 25 years of Jesus's death. Paul's letters provide a detailed outline of Jesus' life and document his personal interactions with Jesus' brother James and other disciples.
Babylonian Talmud
Confirms Jesus' crucifixion on the eve of Passover.
Lucian of Samosata
A second-century Greek writer who admits that Jesus was worshiped by Christians, introduced new teachings, and was crucified for them.
Mara bar Serapion
A Syriac Stoic who wrote a letter from a Roman prison that scholars believe refers to the execution of Jesus.
Newly deciphered manuscript
A 1,600-year-old papyrus in a Hamburg, Germany university library that is considered the oldest written record of Jesus' childhood.
Archaeologists have also found evidence that corroborates elements of the New Testament story of Jesus, including physical evidence of Roman crucifixions.
