Back from attending the game - my thoughts

1. Kyle Field meets the hype. The student body is the best I’ve ever seen. They stood and cheered all game - even up 34. Incredible. A touch cultish, but they were respectful.
2. Cook had WIDE OPEN receivers or NOTHING. Seeing the entire field, the number of routes our receivers TOOK OFF and/or refused to break off to give Cook a target was pathetic. Hope our WRs realize scouts watch the tape of how you handle adversity. I take it to mean our receivers have lost confidence he can get them the ball if you aren’t his first read.
3. Embarrassed. To leave Cook in and BURDEN to stat hunt when you are getting your butt handed to you is pathetic. Both took multiple unnecessary hits. Reckless coaching. Prolonged the humiliation.
4. Our sideline reacted so emotionally to every bad call/tough break in the first half. Negative energy was contagious.
5. The Jumbotron repeatedly had Cook’s quote box on the screen about saying Kyle Field isn’t any louder than practice. Genius move by Kyle Field, the crowd lost their minds. Do we media train at all?!
