Judge Chumpkin had previously ordered all of this material sealed, unless both parties agreed to release it. However, given that a trial date could not be scheduled before the election and the fact that she is a fascist prog democrat appointed judge, she chose to countermand her order and allow Smith to expose the entire mess to the public. It is entirely extra-legal and against the orders of the Supreme Court, but her goal, and Smith's is to stop Trump any way she can.
