The other 50%. Given that fact a comparable share with the team to the NBA would be 25% which is roughly what they are getting.


Also the NBA is still subsidizing the WNBA although I don't think it's that much anymore (15 million) which to me means it's still not profitable on its own.

There was buzz this year because a generational player trying to get her due respect. Another way of putting that is it was popular for off court reasons not on court play. That storyline might last another season or two tops then it's back to just the play itself which is **** layups and hip chucking 3s as if the ball was a 15 lbs medicine ball
