battery out at every shift change. Nicads have little internal resistance so they can dump all their energy in a hurry. So my FTO had his hands full and stuck the charged battery into his pocket. It promptly shorted out on his keys and his pants started smoking and his leg started burning. It would have been funny if he didn't nearly set himself on fire.
