Yes we all get it, we want people ranked in front of us to lose. Its the nature of the game, but none of this will matter if we don't win our own games, and we have a number of them we could potentially drop if the team doesn't get all it's parts working correctly.
By the way, the ACC Official Statement on the play
“During the review process of the last play of the Virginia Tech at Miami game, it was determined that the loose ball was touched by a Miami player while he was out of bounds which makes it an incomplete pass and immediately ends the play.”
And that is a true and correct statement. The only rub people can actually has is if there was indisputable evidence that said situation occured. Seems quite clear that players from both teams were touching the ball as they landed on the field, and the Miami player fighting for the ball was indeed touching out of bounds.
