Not sure what he meant by "YOUR PEOPLE?" It sounds racist!

Here is the statement from Pittsburgh public schools..
Channel 11 reached out to Pittsburgh Public Schools for comment. The district confirmed the student and others were pulled out of class to talk about voter registration but “The staff member, who also serves as a Minority Inspector of Elections, affirms that no political opinions were shared, nor was there any attempt to influence the student’s party affiliation. There is no evidence to support the parent’s allegations.”
No evidence except for the students version of events....
The district is taking the word of the staff member over the student. Recent history has shown schools being dishonest with parents about what is happening in schools, and what is being taught. All the things they have been dishonest about happening seem to push the liberal agenda! This is a group of people that want to be able to advise children on their gender identity without parents knowledge. I am siding with the student and her mother!
