the baseball Hall of Fame.
He was a bat boy for the St. Louis Browns & Cardinals. He was pretty tall & was the bat boy when the Browns had the midget Eddie Gaedel come up for a bat. He got a walk, of course.
The manager had my uncle go sit in the dugout because he towered over Gaedel. He said ~ "This is enough of a circus, go sit in the dugout."
