under NIL, are players required to do something in exchange

for the money, something which actually involves using their Name, Image or Likeness?
I don't know if Sulza at UNLV did anything to warrant NIL money other than getting paid.
Players who decide to redshirt and sit out because (1) they aren't happy with playing time (the RB at UNLV) or (2) their NIL money (Sulza) - those would seem to fall outside of the NIL concept.
Nonetheless, either the NCAA or the conferences need to come out with some rules for NIL. It is ruining college sports.
