The best to do this is with a small amount of kindling. And some matchsticks. You arrange the kindling in teepee shape and light various parts of the bottom. Strips of newspaper are helpful.
Then you slowly add sticks and small logs to the fire until the ORIFICES OF THESE GOLL DURN PLAYERS ARE ROASTING HOT AND THEIR DADGUM AZZ HAIR IS SIZZLING!!1!1!
