I think most intellectually honest people can say an interest rate near zero is absurd.

There can be fair arguments of where it would naturally fall as well.

I actually did some loaning through a site called prosper.com.

People could come in and ask for money, and you could basically bid an amount and interest rate you would be willing to loan at. Once they got enough bids, it was funded.

I just did a couple of thousand, but it was an interesting concept.

I think one of the loans was at like 30 something percent.
