at Neyland Stadium since we've joined the SEC.
I've been to 5 - the 4-overtime win in 2012 was fun to watch (I was sitting right over the end zone where all of the overtime play took place - James Franklin's 4th down and long pass into the end zone to Dorial Beckham Green at the end of regulation - who kept his toes in bounds while catching the ball - was a highlight).
Maty Mauk leading Mizzou to a win in 2014 - night game - he hit a long pass late to cement the win.
I saw Mizzou lose in 2016 - win in 2018 - Drew Lock had a big game - and saw Mizzou lose in 2022.
But I've only been to one game in Norman - that was in 2011 before we left the Big 12 for the SEC.
The OU fans weren't great - I only have a one game sample size - but yeah, at the time, I thought only Kansas had worse fans.
But Tennessee passed up OU for me based on what I ran into at the Tennessee games.
First of all, I'll take listening to Boomer Sooner any day of the week over Rocky Top. That song is annoying to say the least.
And I ran into some nice fans in Tennessee but overall, not a great away game experience due to the rest of the fans.
This is hard for me - since I root against OU every week - and I know they're a pain in the rear on social media - but I'll probably be rooting for them this Saturday.
I only wish there were a way for both teams to lose.
