operation in the history of mankind.
There were numerous significant 'information portals' to the web back in 1995.
Remember Alta Vista?
Google came on the scene with that page-rank algorithm and seemingly overnight every other portal died.
You really could put your finger on the pulse of internet.
And every day it seemed to get better.
Little did we know that once the company whose moniker was 'Don't be evil' got a material grasp over all information flowing from the internet into the real world how evil they would go.
When something appears on page two of search it's dead.
The top half of page one is REALITY.
The golden age of Google passed by quickly as engineers went from organizing and improving search results in alignment with what We The People said was important, good and helpful to those engineers being given a mandate as to what was important, good and helpful.
At that point Google, and let's say it was around 2005, really started to hit the fan, search result quality degrading slowly at first and then by 2015, really starting to approximate the rest of corporate media, amplifying THE MESSAGE and quashing everything else.
How many points has all this swayed elections?
Hard to say, but with margins razor thin, certainly enough to say that the execs at Google made 2016 close and were key in stealing 2020.
