Knows he will take the hit and accusation of "being scared" to debate her again, but willing to trade that for the pressure it will put on her to actually hold press conferences and interact with the media to get her message out. Calculated gamble and, I think, a good one. A prepped 90 minute debate is one thing. The back and forth of unplanned press interaction is another.
