Probably the worst VB loss…

In coach Sullivan’s relatively short 1 year and 6 game tenure here, losing yesterday to South Dakota 3-1.
Inexplicable how we can blow them out 25-15 in the first set, then lose the next 3 sets, getting worse and worse each set, 23-20-16.
What makes it even worse is South Dakota got swept 3-0 by Northern Kentucky, and were blown out in 2 of the 3 sets, 25-11 and 25-14. And we beat Northern Kentucky 3-1. Go figure.
Just one match and it’s a long season. Still very disappointing. 6 more non conference matches left, starting this weekend at home (finally) with UMKC, UT Martin and Lindenwood. We should take 5 of the last non con matches easily, then we have Illinois on a neutral court in Nashville in two weeks. The Illini were picked 11th in the 18 team B1G this year, which means that will likely still be a tough contest.
