Both sides are doing this. Every state that has the right to put an Abortion amendment up for election has been blocked over and over, at least attempted to block. Some states will not even allow their citizens to vote on issues like this, which in my opinion is a violation of the tenth amendment and the federal government should step in. I do not think that a signature by the president or congress to permit or deny abortion is constitutional.
