I dont think I "get" the original Beetlejuice

as typical of most Tim Burton movies, its weird for the sake of being weird but its not really that funny nor is it really that scary.

I could never figure out what the movie was trying to achieve, other than just being weird.

I feel the same about Edward Schissorhands
