The Old Pinnix is a hidden gem within a former pharmacy and serves great cocktails. Not a place for those who don't drink, although they do serve water.

It was a nice respite after a storm-interspersed afternoon at Union Park and downtown. The North Carolina Symphony performs at the convention center this Fall.

A cultured area - something for the sophisticated high horses to appreciate.
