First, she absolutely deserved it based on what she has accomplished here. Second, this was the time to do it. She was heading into the 2025 season with just 2 years left on her current contract, thru the 2026 season. This new deal extends her contract by 2 more years so now they have her locked down for the next 4 seasons, through 2028.
