Team for the opener. Aside from the win it gives these guys live action and a chance for the coaches to get video of the second and third string so they can coach them up for the future.

It benefits the Murray states as well. A good payout for their AD, a chance to play on a prime time television spot, an opportunity to play at a big time venue. Also, if your a true competitor, you want to play against the best. Imagine playing against a possible Heisman winner.
