aren't those who are on the fence; it's almost exclusively people who aren't fans of her in the first place.

I was being facetious on the 'extra sure' comment.

I strongly disagree with you that those complaining are concerned about voters' (un)informed choices. I think it really reflects on how little confidence they have in Trump's ability to explain his positions or anything at all. He could dominate the airwaves with conference after conference, cogently explaining his plans for health care or childcare or the future of US foreign policy or any number of things....and he cannot. He can definitely hold a press conference, sure, but each one sounds more like the ramblings of a grumpy old man living in yesteryear.

As a result, there's a shift to move focus away from Trum p and more towards Kamala. I guess I'd say it this way: If Trump were providing thoughtful, clear, and concise answers at regular press conferences, his supporters would be delighted that Kamala stays out of the spotlight.
