coached Murray State for 8 years. Fritz won 3 Ohio Valley Conference Championships and led Murray State to the Tangerine Bowl (now known as the Citrus Bowl).
Fritz played at Mizzou in the 30's and was a lifelong Mizzou fan and supporter.
