I need to apologize that one's immigration status fails to send me into fits of rate. Sorry. US immigration policy has needed a serious rehaul for decades. Job One, provide citizeship to all DACA individuals. Job two, provide path to citizenship for all immigrants with a shorter interim period for those lucky enough to have gotten in with Visas. Job three expand the visa limit by four or five fold. Job one and Job Two would both serve to clear the pipes as it were. Job Four - hire 10,000 judges to expited clearing of immigrants into our country. We are a nation of fcking immigrants - a great pity that xenophobes have such power in this country. As I have done before I recomend again a PBS piece on Italians in America which covers a period from about 115 years ago when incoming Italians were vilified, spat upon and despised more even than the ILLEGALS are today. Somehow we survived and recovered from that as we will from this.
